Umbrella

Today is the 15th day of OctPoWriMo, dear reader. Once again, I have surprised myself by getting here. My desire to write hasn't always been where I want it to be, but I have done it so far. Maybe I have too many hobbies. Maybe I am lazy. Either way, I am proud of myself for getting here. 

The prompt today is: If _______ were an umbrella. Well, I actually wrote about an umbrella. I wrote an acrostic, even though we were not given any sort of form to write. I hope you enjoy today's endeavour.

Under cloud filled skies

Many seek but never find.

Brave hopefuls trudge through

Rains that keep falling.

Everyone pursues

Life’s dream of happiness.

Let down by a failing system,

All they needed was an umbrella.
