My Muse (You)
Restless thoughts won’t settle downin everything I see, you are there. You become my inspirationin times when my words are broken. You are the light to my darktruly I have found my muse. Your physical presencealthough not commandingensnares me and holds me tight. I often wonder why there are timeswhen I can’t see what you haveto offer? Blind! I am blindto your charms. Oh foolish writer, open your eyes, open your heartlet your muse propel youto words that tell the tale. ‘Love is blind’, thus is the wordbut the meaning is differentfor a writer and his craft. Listen! Watch! Learn!Follow the directionof that which inspires. Relax your thoughts, let the very juice of creativityflow from your bodyand onto the paper. Succumb to the willof your muse. This is my advice. To practice what I preachI must embrace you.I am to love you, your mind and your body. My mind is openand ready to receiveyou. My muse. My inspiration. My love.Passion. You.

These verses run so close to me! I understand so weel what you mean… it happens to me so much with the girl I love. The way you have put it in words is just great!
By the way, the ending of the poem is magical too.
Beautiful.
