Fading Reality
I try to recallthe last timeI saw youbut the memory is faint It used to be so easyto imagine your face,to envision your bodyYes, it was so clear Something has changednot in you, but in meYour features failYour shape disappears Driven by fantasyI recreate youinto what I thinkyou should be I know it's not realA trick of the mindMy tears well upYou're simply not there I long to see you againIf only to fuelWhat can only beA dream.
Very stylish piece. Trying to fade out the image of someone to make them what YOU think they SHOULD be is certainly one translation.
